READ-THINK-WRITE
This year's Summer Reading theme at Dartmouth High is all about free choice! Grab your book now and be ready for an afternoon at the beach, or a day in the air conditioning. There are lots of great options available for for summer check-out in the LMC. Visit the library's page on the DHS website to learn more about book requirements and reading tips to prepare for September's graded writing assignment. Happy reading!

End of Year Locker Clean Out
On Friday, June 21st at 12:33 all students will report to homeroom. From there, they will be sent to clean out their lockers. All trash must be removed and placed in proper receptacles. Library carts will be available to collect owed books. Any unwanted clothing should be bagged separately and sent to the main office. After June 27th all clothing will be donated to charity. Any items not removed from lockers by the end of the day on Friday, June 28th will be removed by the custodial staff.

ATTENTION In-Coming Grade 9 Students
Kick-Off Orientation for the Class of 2017 is scheduled for Friday, August 16, 2013 from 8:30-1:00 at Dartmouth High School. Keep an eye out for the flyer that will be sent home in your quarter 4 report card. Fill out the registration form and drop it off or mail it to DHS. We look forward to getting you ready for high school!

Summer Sports Camps
Volunteers are needed to assist coaches with the summer sports camps. This is a great community service opportunity. Please see Mrs. Vieira in A22.
Juniors
The Common Application boot camps for both August 2nd and August 21st are now full.  We will notify students during the last week of school (June 24-27) by announcement and by the website if seats become available.  Anyone who has a packet is reminded to turn it in to Mrs. Peach in the guidance office by June 21st or you will lose your spot.
Dartmouth Community Summer School Registration
June 17, 19, 24, 26
4:00-7:00 p.m.
Registration forms must be completed by students who need to attend.

Course Fees:
  • 1 course   $170.00
  • 2 courses $300.00
  • 3 courses $400.00
All fees must be paid in full prior to the first day of classes. Bank checks or money orders are required (NO CASH PAYMENTS), and should be made  payable to "Town of Dartmouth."
  • Fee Refunds: Course refunds are granted only in the case of course cancellation.
  • Classes will meet beginning July 1-July 30, with July 4th off for Independence Day.

Notice to Parents For Medication Pick-Up
State policy requires that a parent or a designated adult must pick up your child’s medication or the medication will be discarded.  Therefore, please pick up your medication before 10:30 AM on June 27, 2013.

Go Big Green 5K
Do you like to run? The Go Big Green 5K roadrace is being held on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at 10:00 here at DHS. The race is sponsored by the Class of 2014 with the help of the DHS track team. Sign up to run or walk at the link posted below. There will be t-shirts for the first 50 registrants and awards for top runners. Help support the DHS community and GO BIG GREEN!
