The Common Application is the recommended form of nearly 400 selective, independent colleges and universities for admission to their undergraduate programs. Many of these institutions use the form exclusively. All give equal consideration to the Common Application and the college's own form.
Search for a college or university by completing a questionnaire to indicate the field of study you are looking for, location of the school, student body size, etc. or simply search for a college by name. This site also has a financial aid link for available scholarships, loans and grants. This could be a useful tool for those who need to compile a list of colleges which offer degrees in a chosen field.
Search for your ideal college, register a CSS/Financial Aid Profile, find out test dates for and register for SATs, and have access to the ExPAN program and FundFinder Scholarship search program. These are helpful with a college search, career exploration, and scholarships.
Have a look at potential careers and majors along with advice from choosing a college to packing and making yourself at home at school once you've finally made that big decision.
Undecided about where to get that all-important college education or what technical school to go to? The CollegeNET search engine may help. Enter selection criteria such as geographic location, size of enrollment, sports programs, and majors offered and let CollegeNET do the rest.
Peterson's provides information about the various colleges and universities. You can search for a college based on a prospective major. Applications for a number of colleges can be downloaded.
Great information on thousands of colleges, an "ask the expert" area, and plenty of general advice on the college transition process.
A resource for students and professionals looking for information on Degrees & Colleges.
Developed by a Guidance Counselor, this excellent site is the gateway to all college, college applications, financial aid, SAT/ACT prep, careers, and study skills links!
