|Building upon the career exploration concepts of the Freshman Seminar classes and the input of the Guidance Department, the Internship Program allows Seniors to connect their academic experiences with career choices. Students are assisted individually to refine career-related goals through self-assessment and research, and are then placed at an internship site with mentors who provide them with real world experience. An internship provides an opportunity for seniors to spend extended time in workplace settings as an extension of the classroom. Each intern will be responsible for maintaining a daily journal, preparing a career portfolio, and meeting on a regular basis with the Internship Coordinator.
Interested students should see Mr. Wright in the Guidance Department for more information.
